A practical way forward

I buy struggling small businesses and give them a second chance.

If your business is under pressure, there's a way through that doesn't mean losing everything you've built.

Good businesses sometimes need a different way through.

My name's Chris. Over the years I've built and run a number of businesses across professional services, technology, and hospitality, and I've seen how quickly good businesses can come under pressure through no real fault of the people running them: rising costs, thin margins, a lease that no longer makes sense.

Twice now, I've stepped in and bought a struggling business outright, lock, stock, and barrel, and turned it into something that works. Not by stripping it down, but by backing what was already good about it and giving it the resource, structure, and time it needed to get through to the other side.

Stanwich is how I do that for other owners. If you're in that position now, I'd like to talk to you before you're forced into a decision you don't want to make.

A straightforward exit, at the pace you need.

I take on the lease and the overheads, and I pay a premium for the equipment and fittings you've built up.

It can move quickly if you need it to, or slowly if you'd rather take your time and compare your options. Either way, the aim is the same: you walk away without the debts, without the stress of a forced closure, and knowing what you built is going to carry on.

I'm not a chain, and I'm not a private equity fund.

I'm part of a small team who has done this before and who understands what it takes to keep a small business alive when the market turns against it. This page exists so you have somewhere to check before you pick up the phone.

If now isn't the right time, keep this somewhere safe.

It might be useful one day.
